All About Driving is an independent driving school, run by myself (Vinny). Driving has always been a big part of my life since 1982. I was a 44 ton HGV driver, I ride motorbikes and also enjoy cycling. As you may have gathered I have a great understanding of how to use the road safely and a good awareness of other road users.

The purpose of my driving school is to share all my knowledge and experience with you, so that you too can become a confident and successful road user.  With most of my pupils passing  their test first time, that means I know how to pass the knowledge to you.

Being a driving instructor allows me to use my excellent people skills and I will always treat every pupil as an individual, because I understand that everyone learns at different paces. This means that you will get excellent value for your money, I will always recognise and support each pupils needs. Treating each pupil as an individual allows you to feel relaxed and comfortable whilst learning to drive.

My main objective is to help you become a road user that holds a good understanding and awareness of the road, this will be done with the minimum number of lessons possible for each individual. All of my driving lessons are taught on a one to one basis (no car sharing) so that you benefit from each lesson, learning new things as often as possible and conquering any difficulties you may experience. I want you to pass your driving test first time but I will never put you under any unwanted pressure, as I want all my pupils to feel at ease and learn at a pace that is comfortable for them.

Choosing which car you want to learn in;

The manual car has gears and a clutch. When you pass your driving test with the manual car, you can drive manual and automatic cars. 

The automatic car has gears but no clutch, the car will change the gears for you, depending on the speed you are traveling at the car will select the best gear for the speed.

Once you pass your test in the automatic car you will only have a licence to drive automatic vehicles. 

If you decide later on in your life you want a manual licence you will need to have some more driving lessons in a manual car, then take another driving test.

£33 per hour lesson weekdays. 10 hours pre paid lessons £310 T&Cs apply* 

£36 per hour evenings and weekends.

*pre paid lessons must be taken within 16 Weeks and no refunds on pre paid lessons. No block booking discount offered on evenings and weekends.
